Picfont is an online tool that allows you to add Colorful text to images.

Just upload an image from desktop. Type the desired text and select a good color. Choose a perfect font and there are options to change the size of the text or you can also rotate the image. When you are finished with the editing work, click on generate button, the text will appear on the image.
