Potato Screen Capture is free software that will take snapshot of any region in your desktop. The program has user-friendly interface and consumes 1.5 MB of disk space.

Once the software is installed, a tiny icon will appear on the system tray. All you have to do is right-click on the icon and select ‘Capture’.

Here you will find 5 different options to choose from:

• Custom Area – Take Screenshot of a particular region in desktop

• Full Screen – Snapshot of entire screen

• Object – Screenshot of any program window

• Magnify and Capture – This option will magnify a chosen region and then takes the magnified screenshot

• Capture Color – Color Picker to get the RGB code

The screenshot taken can be directly transferred via FTP or Email and can also be uploaded to Image Sharing website like ImageShack.

The Potato Screen Capture is compatible with Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista.
