Everyday a new breed of computer virus is launched into the Internet World. Usually, these malicious codes are spread through compromised websites that offer an option to download software or video file.

Malwares are designed to steal personal financial data from user’s computer like credit card numbers, passwords, bank account numbers etc.

To make matter worst here is a latest malware known as Zimuse Worm which is designed to affect computer Hard Disk.

Zimuse worm will delete important files in Hard Disk and overwrite master boot record, making it impossible for users to restart the operating system.

And the only way to restart the entire system is with the help of bootable Windows Installation CD.

Zimuse Worm is spread through compromised websites that offer for an IQ test.

Without users permission, entire program will be installed and Zimuse worm will start deleting important files in the Hard Disk making it impossible for the system to reboot.

The Virus is also being spread through USB drive using Autorun mechanism.

Antivirus companies like Avira, Eset and f-secure have released updates to defend pc from Zimuse Worm.
