Firefox is my favorite Browser, it has got many addons which helps to get my work done easily. But, as you all know Firefox consumes too much system resources, especially RAM memory.

You can manage if the pc has got enough RAM memory, but tough to work on a computer with poor hardware configuration.

One of the simplest solutions is to remove unnecessary addons and open very few tabs while browsing.

If this is not possible, then install FasterFox lite.

Fasterfox Lite is a Firefox Addon that will reduce Memory Used by Firefox Browser. The addon comes with  pre-configured tweaks which makes the browser consume less RAM memory.

After installing this addon there was 30 % drop in memory consumption and significant change in RAM performance.

There are 5 different options :

• Courteaus : For Rendering and Caching Tweak

• Optimized : Network Optimization

• Turbo Charged : Maximum Performance

• Custom : Displays many settings for custom tweaks

• Default : Restores all settings to Non-Optimized Value

Among the above 5 option, I suggest ‘Turbo Charged’, because it has got all the features and overall reduces load on your PC.

There is also a Page Load timer that will let you know the time taken by any web page to load.
